Before transitioning to college consulting, Ashton worked in numerous facets of higher education, including First-Year Experience, New Student Orientation, Career Advising, Parent and Family Engagement, and Graduate Admissions. Her broad experience across the student lifecycle allows her to provide well-rounded, strategic support to students and families alike.

Specializing in both admissions strategy and financial aid, Ashton is particularly adept at helping students and their families complete essential financial aid applications such as the FAFSA, CSS Profile and other institutional forms. Through a thoughtful, informed, and student-centered approach, Ashton empowers students to make confident, informed decisions about their educational futures.

With over 14 years of experience as a dedicated high school counselor, Jessica has helped hundreds of students navigate the complex and often overwhelming college admissions process. She is a graduate of the University of Virginia with a major in Psychology, holds a Master’s in Education and Human Development from The George Washington University and is finishing her Professional Counseling License to become an LPC.

Dana Goozh is a former middle school math teacher with a bachelor's degree in education from Penn State University and a master's degree in school counseling from Johns Hopkins University. In addition to her role as a college consultant with Right Fit, Dana works part-time as a school counselor and ACT/SAT math tutor.

Through conferences and professional development, Dana is committed to staying current on admissions trends so she can provide families with knowledgeable, up-to-date guidance throughout the college application process.

With decades of experience working with students, Dana has a natural ability to build meaningful relationships while providing just the right balance of support and independence. She empowers students to take ownership of their college journey, helping them gain confidence and develop the skills they need to make thoughtful decisions.

As the mother of four college-aged children, Dana understands the excitement, challenges, and emotions families experience. Kristina DeVesty

Kristina DeVesty is a former high school English teacher with a Master of Arts in Teaching, a bachelor’s degree in English, and a minor in creative writing. She spent years in the public system as a certified AP and IB language arts instructor, and loved every minute.

Kristina is a certified Wilson Dyslexia Practitioner with experience supporting students across a wide range of learning profiles. She completed the College Counseling Certificate at UC San Diego and is also a WOW Certified Essay Coach. She has taken multiple classes focused on the personal statement, whether at a university or with College Essay Guy, and she loves nerding out about it.

She recently became an Associate Member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association and is excited to continue growing in the profession.

Her process is student-driven and story-focused, designed to help students elevate their writing and insight during the concentrated time they work together. She tailors exercises, questions, and revision assignments to meet students where they are and encourages their personal growth as writers.
